Hi, I’m Maddie Legner. I’m originally from the beautiful Town of Spring Lake New Jersey right on the Atlantic Ocean. In 1979, I decided to try a career in real estate, and what a great decision that was. I was able to experience many different aspects of real estate, including residential sales. I worked with Builders with new construction condo conversions and some commercial businesses as well. I moved to Rockport in 1995, and over the years I have enjoyed wonderful relationships with my clients, many of who have become lifelong friends. Just like my mom, I have never met a stranger, and this business allows me to meet folks from all walks of life. Some people can be challenging some a dream come true, but all a great experience in helping me with patience, understanding, and the ability to really listen. Buying or selling a home can be a tedious and stressful situation, but I strive to make sure the road is as smooth as possible and always try to make it a fun and happy occasion. I’ve earned many designations and I am presently honored to be on the Professional Standards committee for the State of Texas focusing on helping agents to remain true to the code of ethics, so important in our business. I enjoy spending time with my husband Tony my friends and family and of course my sweet pups, Cherry, Rip, and Bobby Jay. I’m learning to play golf and it’s a funny thing, everyone wants me to be on their team… Something about my handicap. Go figure. I recently joined Spears & Co. real estate because Alissa and the team exemplify trust, professionalism, and integrity.
