Hello, I’m Karen Mella, and I so excited to be a new member of the Spears and Company Real Estate team. I joined Spears & Co to be a member of one of the most forwarding thinking, innovative, education-driven brokerages in South Texas. As a small child, my early introduction to Rockport-Fulton began with lots of family camping trips to Goose Island state park. It was a short trip from San Antonio, where I grew up. At an early age, I learned to appreciate some of the best experiences our local community has to offer…fishing, birding, fresh seafood, enjoying family time and of course The Big Tree in Lamar!
After moving to Rockport fulltime in 2005, I started my local marketing company, KRM Consulting, focusing on helping local businesses prosper through creative marketing programs I developed to fit their specific businesses.
To this day, I love fishing, sunsets, shopping local and enjoying my share of fresh seafood! My volunteer work continues to drive many of my passions, whether it’s helping our local children and teachers, the art community, conservation groups, our four legged friends or spending time on the stage at our local community theater. Through my extensive involvement, I grew to love this community even more and built a vast network and lasting relationships that I cherish to this day.
Real Estate is a relationship business. Helping clients navigate through the many challenges of buying or selling their properties, is extremely rewarding and fulfilling to know that I played a pivotal part in making their dreams come true.
